Switching Cans

How to properly switch cans.
Remember to always leave a can on the gun.

In this segment we want to teach you how to properly switch cans. If you ever have any gun problems we believe it really stems from how you switch cans. The first rule of thumb is always leave a can on the gun. If you’re not foaming leave a can on the gun it prevents moisture from getting into the system to cure the foam. So always leave a can on the gun.

If the can is empty on the job site, and you do not have a replacement can then leave the empty can on the system. The can occupies the adapter, the needle valve on the tip off the gun, which is closed by a spring, so it is a mechanical system. It does not matter if the can is full, half full, or empty always leave a can on the gun.
